Town of Port Hedland

CouncilConnect case study

The Town of Port Hedland originally subscribed to CouncilConnect in 2014. The Town has since refreshed their design in 2017 and in 2018 applied their new style guide further enhancing the look and feel of the site. The Town of Port Hedland’s website adopts modern functionality through stylish quick links as well as intuitive use of content areas. Feeds also help condense content areas such as news and events, and the integration of their Facebook social media feed ensures the homepage content remains fresh and relevant.

Early this year, The Town of Port Hedland engaged our services again to re-design their Leisure Centre website. The aim was to align the Leisure Centre website with their existing Town website and intranet. Our team of designers put together a wireframe to map out the layout of the homepage and later implemented the newly created style guide provided by the Town. Improving user engagement was a top priority for the Town of Port Hedland. This was complemented by integrating Facebook and adding our E-Newsletter module to allow for regular communication with customers. The Leisure Centre website is modern, interactive, easy to navigate and designed with the end-user in mind.
