Market Creations Agency has developed five digital applications for the City of Vincent, including websites, an intranet, and a Councillor Portal.

About the Client

Covering about 10km2, The City of Vincent is a vibrant and historically rich area of metropolitan Perth. The City of Vincent chose to redevelop and transfer their three websites to CouncilConnect in early 2017 – their primary City of Vincent website, the City of Vincent Library & Local History Centre website, and the Beatty Park Leisure Centre website. In 2018 we also developed and built them an Intranet and Councillor Portal and Seasonal Events sites. 

Administrative Efficiencies

Utilising the CouncilConnect’s platform scalability, the City of Vincent’s websites have all been developed on the one CMS with content sharing. This means staff are only required to upload content or documents once but can publish to their five platforms instantaneously.

Wireframes

Full exploration of the website’s structure, navigation, and content strategy was completed through a pre-design process called wireframing. Market Creations Agency workshopped closely with the client to establish website goals before presenting three wireframe concepts for consideration. This provided a chance to make educated and informed decisions around the website structure and functionality without the distraction of fonts, colours, and images.

The Outcome

Working with Market Creations Agency, the City of Vincent has successfully launched their corporate website, Beatty Park Recreation Facility website, Library website, as well as internal Intranet and Councillor Portal platforms.
